With Father’s Day coming up on Sunday, a lot of us like to reflect on what our father’s taught us and how they paved the way for us in the world. In our circle of friends, all sailors and boaters, most of us came to boating through our parents and primarily our fathers. I can remember sailing with my Dad on an offshore passage from Cape Cod to Maine when I was 12. It changed my life.
