(Maritime Executive) – The offshore survey vessel Seabed Constructor had recently completed a successful mission to recover the voyage data recorder (VDR) from the wreck of the lost South Korean tanker, Stellar Daisy when she was headed to the Falklands for an archaeological search-and-survey of WWII shipwrecks. While in transit the ship was requested to help the crew of the yacht Ti Paradise.
The Ti Paradise had capsized in foul weather 480 nm northeast of the Falklands. She righted herself, but two of her eight crewmembers were swept over the side, including the skipper. Read More
