A Bevy of Multihulls on Display in France

The largest multihull (“multicoque” in French) boat show in Europe if not the the world got underway yesterday, Wednesday April 24, in the Marina at the resort community of La Grande Motte, France and I am there to see what is new and what is coming to America in the year ahead.  The show, which was founded in 2010 and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, will have just about every brand and model of multihulls on display, from the huge Prestige Yachts to the newest Nacra Olympic cats. Plus, you will find trimarans, power cats and much more.  As we all have seen, multihulls continue to grow in popularity in the cruising fleet and new and innovative designs come on the market every year and are often debuted in France before being introduced to the North American audience.
