NOAA Looks to End Production of Paper Charts

After 200 years of producing paper charts, NOAA is initiating a five-year process to end production of the charts, focusing instead on electronic navigation charts (ENC). While NOAA will be focusing on improving data consistency of the ENC, they will also work on having access to paper charts through third party commercial providers.
