An Unplanned Tall Ship Adventure

(Newsweek) – Sailboats have been stuck in harbors around the world due to the coronavirus and one ship in order to make it home, had to sail 10,000 miles. The tall ship Bark Europa, built in 1911 has a homeport of Scheveningen, the Netherlands but recently found itself in Ushuaia, Argentina which is at the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego in Argentina. The crew of 20 elected to sail the ship back to its homeport as there was no way of knowing how long they would have to remain in a locked down situation in Argentina.
