A number of sailors have been stuck on their boats due to the pandemic sweeping the world. Islands were closed to visitors, flights canceled and the hurricane season is approaching. The Salty Dawg Sailing Association looked around at all the sailors in need and orgainzed a flotilla to head back to the east coast. In all they’ve had 184 boats participate allowing the Salty Dawgs to coordinate volunteers on shore, offering Chris Parker to provide weather updates and providing knowledge and assistance of experienced sailors to those requesting aid.
