Jeanneau and Excess Catamarans Add New Dealer Crusader Yacht Sales

By Sandy Parks · On July 2, 2020

Crusader Yacht Sales, owned and operated by Mike Titgemeyer, is now the exclusive distributor of Jeanneau sailboats and Excess catamarans for the mid-Chesapeake region. Both brands are owned by Groupe Beneteau in France.  The announcement came during a press reception at Crusader’s offices in Annapolis, Maryland, on June 30, 2020.
“Partnering with Jeanneau and Excess was a great decision for us,” said Mike Titgemeyer, who owns and runs Crusader Yacht Sales.  “Both companies build innovative, high-quality boats that are in demand and we’re looking forward to providing sales and service in the Annapolis and surrounding area.”
“We are delighted to welcome Crusader Yacht Sales to the Jeanneau family,” said Nick Harvey, President of Jeanneau America. “We’re working closely with their sales team and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship. Adding a partner like Crusader Yacht Sales allows us to strengthen our footprint in the local market and provide the best customer service for Jeanneau clients. We’re excited to continue growing the Jeanneau community in the Annapolis area.”
Fred Signat, director of the CNB operations, which builds Excess cats, for the Americas commented, “We are pleased to welcome Crusader Yacht Sales within the Excess family. Adding a strong partner like Crusader Yacht Sales, established since 1982 within the Sailing community in Annapolis, allows us to expand our network on the East Coast of the USA. The combination of Excess Catamaran and Jeanneau Sail to Crusader Yacht Sales will strengthen the position of the Beneteau Group in North America.”
