Boston Light, Oldest Staffed Lighthouse in the U.S.

(Marine Log) – The U.S. Coast Guard is transferring stewardship of the 304-years old lighthouse under the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act. The Coast Guard will continue to maintain the aid to navigation while the NHLPA will help preserve the lighthouse allowing public access to Little Brewster Island in Boston Harbor where the lighthouse is stationed.
