Wally the Walrus is a Little Too Friendly

(Practical Boat Owner) – Wally, a walrus from Svalbard, Norway has decided to make friends of boat owners in St Mary’s, Isles of Scilly, UK. He has been climbing aboard dinghies and yachts so the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust and Cornwall Seal Group have formed a working group to ensure Wally’s safety. They have urged boat owners to try and build temporary barriers to their boats so he cannot climb into them. He has shown a particular fondness to the island’s ambulance boat. Read More
