Coast Guard Rescues Solo Sailor From Sailboat Taking on Water

(katc.com) – The Coast Guard in Louisiana received a call from a sailor’s cellphone after his sailboat, Bad Influence, lost power and began taking on water about 63 miles south of Marsh Island, near the Gulf of Mexico. The Coast Guard directed a helicopter to assist the sailor and they successfully recovered the man who only had a minor knee injury. Read More
