Do you have diving gear aboard your boat?
Many thanks for all readers who took the time to answer last week’s survey on staysails. Of those who answered, 62% have staysails on their boats. Of those who do not, 28% say they are considering adding a staysail. Of those with staysails, 52% hank-on their sails while 48% have roller furling. Of those with staysails, 40% say they use the sail “not often” or “never.” 33% use the sail often and 18% say they use it all the time. 10% say they use the sail about half the time they are under sail.
