Use the Windy App for Cruise Planning

By Sandy Parks · On March 10, 2022

Are you using the PLANNING feature on WINDY? Do you know how to use Windy.com? Many sailors we’ve met use the Windy app but don’t know about the distance and planning feature. In this video Robin shows us how to use the Windy app and how we plan our sailing passages using this forecasting model. When it comes to planning offshore sailing passages, nothing matters more than the weather.
Note that the planning feature is only available on the desktop version of app and only on the ecmwf weather mode. Watch Video
