Four Sailors Rescued Off Long Island

(Boston 25 News) – U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod members were able to resuce four sailors about 100 nautical miles south of Long Island Sound, NY. Their sailboat, Calypso based out of Mount Sinai, NY had been dismasted in heavy seas and all four crew were injured. The Coast Guard had a rescue swimmer jump in the water to place them in a basket to board the rescue helicopter. Read More and Watch Video
