(gcaptain.com) – Forty years ago there was a ten-week undeclared war between Argentina and the UK, from April 2, 1982 – Jun 14, 1982. The war resulted from a disagreement over two British territories in the South Atlantic. May 25, 1982 the SS Atlantic Conveyer was hit by two Argentine Exocet missiles, the first merchant ship to be lost to enemy fire since WW2.
