Tracy Edwards at age 26 captained Maiden with the first all-female crew to ever sail around the world in the 1989/90 Whitbread Round the World Race. Fast forward to 2022 and Edwards is the founder of The Maiden Factor Foundation. The foundation works with, raises funds for and supports communities to help girls reach their full potential.
