Peer’s Fancy, Classic Nova Scotia Schooner Raised After It’s Mooring Dragged During Fiona

(sailwire.com) – A schooner sunk by post-tropical storm Fiona after the 48-year-old wooden sailboat’s mooring dragged in St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia was floated again this week by a crew of mariners eager to help.
Peer’s Fancy, a 13-tonne vessel built in East Chester, was a sad sight Monday after the 12-metre sailboat fetched up on a rocky shoal in Long Cove, then flooded with sea water. Read more
