NOAA looks back at the 2022 hurricane season which brought extensive damage to Florida’s coast and Puerto Rico through three named storms, Ian, Nicole and Fiona.
This past season had an unusual pause mid-season which scientists believe was caused by increased wind shear and suppressed atmospheric moisture high over the Atlantic.
