Many thanks to all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on the boats that we own. We got a great response. Of those who took the survey, 88% have sailing monohulls, 9% have sailing catamarans and 3% have sailing trimarans. Only one reader who answered said they have a cruising powerboat. Of sailboat owners, 28% say they are considering shifting to a cruising powerboat, And, of those, 72% are looking at trawlers, 30% at tug-style cruisers, 18% at fast trawler monohulls, 16% at expedition-style monohulls, 15% at power catamarans, and 6% at sport cruisers.
