(pbo.co.uk) – A few weeks ago Cruising Compass reported on Andrew Bedwell’s dream, the Big C Atlantic Challenge, which was to sail a record setting small boat (3 feet) across the Atlantic. Starting his journey in Newfoundland a few days ago, he decided to return to shore as he noted water ingress in the boat. Back at the harbor they had to lift the boat out by her framework but the framework gave way and she dropped onto the harbor, breaking up. Read more from his facebook page and for a report.
