(boatus.com) – Kerry Shaw Brown decided to craft his own bourbon blends and was curious as to how whiskey and rum has been transported by sea over the centuries. The spirits developed characteristics that proved difficult to replicate on land. Brown created batches of bourbon in charred oak barrels he set in a boat in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
