He emailed: “A good method is boric acid; this will take care of them when they get it on their bodies then eat it. There are electronic devices also that claim to work along with insecticides of different brands.”
We would add that you should wash all fresh produces before bring it aboard and never bring aboard cardboard boxes, cardboard containers and cardboard packaging.
