The winner this week is Stephen Randell, Vero beach, FL who emailed: “When you see cumulonimbus clouds forming, usually in or near the tropics, it generally means you will see squalls underneath the clouds. These systems are very local and pop up and can disappear quickly. If you are in more temperate latitudes, you’re probably in for a classic thunder storm.”
