Mant thanks to all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on climbing the mast. Of those who answered, 91% climb their masts to inspect the rigging and make repairs. The vast majority, 67%, go aloft in a bosun’s chair while 25% use a climbing harness, 18% use an ATN Mast Climber and 11% use mast steps. (Readers could check more than one answer so the total exceeds 100%.)
