Many thanks to all readers who took the time to reply to the last survey on gensets. 47% of those who replied do have a genset. Of those, 32% have portable gensets of an average of 2000 watts while the remaining are built-in gensets that rate between 5 and 10kW. The most popular portable gensets are Hinda and Ferryman. The most popular built-in gensets in order are: Onan, Panda, Northern Lights and NextGen.
