Investigators say a family rescued from a sinking sailboat in Galveston Bay, Texas are wanted fugitives.

Now, they are asking the public for help to find the couple and 7 kids. “We’ve always thought there was something wrong,” said Letha Cummings, who lives in San Leon.

It’s a mystery that started with a sinking sailboat.

“It sat there for a month with no concern whatsoever,” said another Jean Mahavier, neighbor. “Boat that size doesn’t come for nickels and dimes”

After it flipped in Galveston Bay in October, the couple and seven kids on board were rescued but never came back for the boat.
