Discovery 21

By Administrator · On July 4, 2017

Previously published in BWS 2016-boat show preview.

The new Chris White designed Discovery 21 is an all carbon and epoxy daysailer that folds up to fit neatly on a street legal trailer. The design is an evolution of the original Discovery 20 that was introduced more than 10 years ago. The 20 proved to be quite popular and is an excellent sailing machine. The new boat, being built by Aquidneck Custom Yachts in Bristol, RI, promises to be even swifter and more fun to sail. The boat has vacuum-bagged, honey-comb cored, carbon-epoxy hulls, a carbon wing mast built by Hall Spars and a Harken roller furling headsail. The boat can be purchased complete or as a quick-build, molded kit.
