Congratulations to Sandy Samuelson in St. Martin, West Indes who correctly answered last week’s Mindbender with an email: A boat’s limit of positive stability is the heeling angle at which the boat flip over and either becomes stable upside down or rolls rolls upright again. For monohulls this angle is usually 120 degrees of hight from vertical. In multihulls, the angle is closer to 95 degrees.
