Sixty-two year old Bert ter Hart just completed sailing alone around the world in 267 days. Aboard his 42-foot boat, Seaburban, the Canadian sailed the five capes navigating with only pen, paper, charts and a sextant. In speaking with the Times Colonist he said he set out hoping to inspire others but found himself being inspired by the kindness he found throughout his journey.
