The RITE Project

Verdant Power is installing three turbines in the East River in New York City which will feed power to to Consolidated Edison Inc.’s grid. The turbines will be producing electricity from the natural tidal currents. They have been working on the project for a number of years and are much closer to reducing the high cost and mechanical issues they have had in the past. Read More
