Congratulations to Sarah Ritter of Galveston, TX who correctly answered last week’s Mindbender. “Samuel Clemens’ pen name was Mark Twain. The mark twain is the second full marking on a lead line measuring fathoms. When a leadsman calls out mark twain he is saying the river or body of water is two fathoms or 12 feet deep. So, if Mark Twain was as tall as his name, he’d be 12 feet tall.”
