(Maritime Executive) – Egypt has relocated the world’s oldest intact ship from the Giza Pyramids to a dedicated building within the Grand Egyptian Museum, just outside Cairo. The 4,600 year-old vessel is beleived to have been built for King Khufu who was the first pharoh to build a pyramid at Giza. The relocation took six months to prepare for the 10-hour journey.
