By George Day · On November 30, 2021

Before reading on, please stop for a moment to take this week’s survey so we can share the results with the Crusing Compass family.

Have you ever practiced a man-overboard drill on from your boat?

Thanks to all readers who answered  our last survey on the frequency of oil changes in your marine diesel and genset. 39% change the oil every 100 hours, 36% change it once a year,  12% every 200 hours, and 13% change it every 300 hours and/or twice a year.  Among readers with gensets, 41% change the oil every 100 hours, 37% once a year, 12% every 200 hours and 10% every 300 hours and/or twice a year.
