Outer Banks Sees Another Boat Run Aground

(Charlotter Observer) – Known as the Graveyard of the Atlantic, the Outer Banks of North Carolina continues to have boats run aground in the area. The latest boat to run aground in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore is the 37-foot sailboat, Alhambra. The national park service is working with the Coast Guard and the vessel’s owner to ensure the safe removal of hazardous substances and ultimate removal of the boat. Read More
