Florida County Begins to Remove Neglected Boats From its Waterways

(WSUF Public Media) – Pinellas County, FL, part of the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Clearwater area has begun removing 34 boats that meet the definition of a derelict boat. The sheriff cited safety concerns as well as concerns from neighbors that the vessels had become an eyesore. At the same time the sheriff is looking into boaters who may be illegally mooring their boats. Read More
