(www.bournemouthecho.co.uk) – Two friends were walking along Mudeford beach in Dorset, UK when they came across a 5-foot long sailboat. According to paperwork in the boat, it had traveled from Rhode Island as part of an oceanography project from the University of Rhode Island. Inside the sealed hatch of the boat was a tracker along with the documents. The univesity had encouraged local schools to build and launch their own boats in order to learn about ocean currents.
