A New Tall Ship to Sail the Great Lakes

(9and10news.com) – The Inland Seas Education Association has announced that the schooner Alliance will be joining their fleet on West Grand Traverse Bay, Lake Michigan. The ship will allow students and the general public out on the Great Lakes to learn about science in real time.
The schooner is a three-masted gaff-rigged schooner that is 105 feet overall and can carry up to 54 passengers. Read more.
