Cruising Compass
Question of the Week 0

Survey of the Week

By George Day · On January 17, 2023

Before reading on, please take a moment to fill out this week’s survey so we can share your thoughts and experiences with the Cruising Compass family.

Does your boat have an in-mast furling mainsail?

Many thanks to all of our readers who took the time to answer last week’s survey on grills for cruising boats.  86% of those who answered have a grill on board. 64% of those are rail mounted with individual propane bottles. 29% are rail mounted and plumbed into the main ship’s propane tank. 7% are rail mounted and use charcoal.  The most popular brand of grills recommended by readers is Magma, with the kettle style topping the list.
