Do you ever use a professional weather router when undertaking an offshore passage?

Many thanks to all readers who took the time to fill our last week’s survey on wind generators.  Of those who answered, 38% have a wind generator on their boats.  Those with a wind generators gave their units a 3.8 star rating out of five. Of those who do not have one, only 12% say they are planning to add one. Asked to recommend a brand of wind generator for a cruising boat, the favorites in order are: 1. D400, 2. (tied) Rutland, Air X and Air Breeze, 3. (tied) Marine Kinetics and Super Wind, 4. Hamilton Ferris.
