Yacht Delivery Skipper/Sailmaker to Cross Atlantic in a One Meter Sailboat

(Yorkshire Post) – Andrew Bedwell, 49 was looking for a big challenge to complete before he turns 50. After reading about Hugo Vihlen who crossed the Atlantic 30 years ago in a small boat Andrew found his challenge. After spending years building his boat, Andrew has had it shipped to Newfoundland where he plans to start his journey to Falmouth, England at the end of May. HIs vessel has a maximum speed of 2.5 knots and he expects to sail through five storms on his journey. Read more.
