British Couple Rescue Boat and Charter Guests Off Rocks

(dailymail.co.uk) – Felicity and Joe Hanson were aboard their 40-foot Gibsea in the village of Es Grau, Menorca, Spain when they came to the aid of a boat anchored behind them. The 38-foot boat dragged its anchor during heavy swells in the anchorage and was against the rocks where a Spanish rescue boat was unable to free the vessel. The couple worked with the owner of the boat to drag it off the rocks. The owner noted that the charter guests did not put out the recommended length of chain. Read more.
