Asked to rate the jib’s upwind performance, readers gave it 4.3 stars out of five. Asked to rate downwind performance, readers gave a lower rating of 3.2. 55% of those with self-taking jibs carry a reachers of asymmetrical spinnaker for downwind sailing.
