Safety at Sea Seminars Save Lives

By George Day · On April 17, 2024

If you and your crew are planning to enter offshore events or rallies this year, or will be making miles offshore, then it makes sense for you to take a refresher course on all things to so with safety at sea. The best and most authoritative safety seminars are certified and run by U.S. Sailing, the sport’s governing body. You can take online courses on their website, or you can attend a one-day or two-day in-person event. The second day of the two-day seminars involve actual in-the-water practice with PFDs, MOB devices and life rafts. Even veteran cruisers come away from a Safety at Sea Seminar wiser for the experience. Learn more here.
