Many thank to all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on preventing fuel tank contamination from suspect diesel sources. 70% add diesel treatment fluids, 68% run diesel thorugh a funnel with a fine mesh filter, 57% have two fuel filters in their fuel lines between the tanks and the engine, 53% avaoid taking on suspect fuel is possible, and 25% rely solely on the main fuel filters.
