Miami Show Update: Introducing the Windelo 51 and 55 Sport Catamarans

By George Day · On February 11, 2025

YOU’RE INVITED!  FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2025 AT 10AM ON THE WINDELO STAND MIAMI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW – MUSEUM PARK MARINA

To kick-off 2025 with a highlight, Windelo is pleased to present the Windelo 51 Sport and the Windelo 55 Sport. Resolutely focused on performance, these two new models replace the former Sport version of the Windelo 50 and 54. While preserving the brand’s DNA – environmentally-friendly catamarans in both construction and use – the Windelo 51 Sport and 55 Sport combine technical features and lightness, for enhanced performance under sail and a racy character. Designed by architects Christophe Barreau and Frédéric Neuman, the Windelo 51 Sport and 55 Sport are the result of an ambitious technical development with a requirement for at least 10% higher performance, achieved notably through:

  • a controlled weight thanks to the use of light material and the introduction of carbon,
  • a carbon “oversized” rig as standard, • a sport-oriented sail set with increased sail area,
  • sharpened bows and rudders,
  • along with an extended waterline. Aboard the Windelo 51 Sport and 55 Sport, top notch performance combines with elegance and modernity of this blue-water cruiser, in perfect harmony with nature.

Presented by Just Catamarans. Read more here.
