Many thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on energy audits on our boats. Of those who answered, 77% have done an audit. When coastal cruising and anchoring at night, 52% use less than 200 Ah a day, while 39% use between 200 and 300. 9% use more than 300 a day. When on passage, battery draw usually goes up goes up over a 24-hour period but 46% still use less than 200 Ah; 44% use between 200 and 300; and 10% use more than 300.
