Many thanks to everyone who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on using tele-medicine services while cruising. Of all who answered only 13% subscribe to such a service. The most popular service is Dan Boater followed by readers’ pwn private doctors, who as one readers remarked “he actually answers his phone.”
One couiple replied, “We used to subscribe to MSOS, a U.K. company, but having telephoned them for a problem in Panama, which was not satisfactorily resolved, we cancelled our subscription. We now use a network of friendly doctors who live in different time zones. This has worked better as they are sailors or cruisers.”
