No Experience Necessary: Race 40,000 Miles Round the World

Every year, people from all walks of life sign up for one or more of eight legs in a circumnavigation around the globe. The race, and it is a race, takes people with no experience in racing or sailing and creates lifelong friendships and a passion for sailing for up to 700 crew per race. There are 11 identical 70-foot yachts racing from port to port, crew join in at the ports if they have signed up for individual legs.
