Bahamas Chartering This Winter: Try the Exumas

The northern Bahamas islands in the Abacos, particularly Mar5h Harbour where the charter fleets were based, were devastated by hurricane Dorian. The charter scene in the Abacos is down for a least a year. Yet, the southern Islands of Nassau and the Exumas were spared by the hurricane and charter fleets are rapidly moving boats there for their Bahamas sailing customers.  Sunsail now has a new base in Nassau where they have a good fleet of catamarans ready for charter. rom, their base you can spend a week of more cruising southward to some of the prettiest and least developed islands anywhere.Many world cruisers count the Exumas are a rare and special cruising ground. The snorkeling is wonderful and the Exuma Land and Sea Park is home to amazing above and below the water wildlife species.
